5. Symphony of Lights

The Symphony of Lights is an evening display held three nights a week in Hong Kong at the harbour side and is a stunning display of lighting from the soaring skyscrapers surrounding the harbour.

Crowds assemble on the waterfront and entertainment is provided by singers and dancers.

We headed in on Friday and managed a front row (well almost) stand. By 8pm the crowd had swelled to thousands.

The Symphony of Lights show lasts about 30 mins and is something not to be missed whilst in Hong Kong.

Pics were hard to take without a tripod at night but some of our video will give an idea of the event.

About Willie Wombat

Wombats come from Tasmania which is the island state at the bottom end of Australia. We enjoy traveling and try to do a bit before we get too old to enjoy it anymore. We are currently both (Mr. & Mrs. Wombat) in our seventies so the time must come soon to pull up the armchairs and footstools and settle down to life on our 17 acre property 30 klm from Hobart which is the capital of Tasmania.
