We visited the 10th January 1979 High School on three occasions to talk to three different groups of student about Australia, general things and their wishes for their future. The students were very attentive and once they got used to us opened up with questions about us, Australia especially our wildlife and mainly kangaroos.
The staff and students were very gracious in their welcome. The facilities in the school are far different from Australian schools. There are no computers, school starts at 7am and finishes at 11am Monday to Saturday. During the monsoon period school closes for three months.
We thank the teachers very much for allowing us to talk to their students we really enjoyed sharing part of our trip with them.
